Here is the link to our blog for our 20 x 40 house that originally began as the 20 x 34 plan.  Couldn't have made it this far without the original 20x34 plan.

Thanks for the welcome.  We hadn't really thought about the state we're in, well state of the union that is.  Idaho is the state, Camas county and yep we're building in the small town of Fairfield.  Other than that the state we're in seems to be constant motion and work, but fun work on the weekends.  I noticed I have the wrong altitude in the blog, so the altitude is more like just a shade over 5,000 feet.  I think about 5065 where the house sits.  And yes it does get cold, windy and sometimes lots of snow.  Just the way I like it.
I wish I had more time to do more of the work myself and that it could be located out of town, maybe the next project if and when.  It'll be years at any rate.  I have to say that the 20 x 34 plans helped me more than I could ever have envisioned.  After redrawing them once the second time around went very quick.  I ended up picking up the super punch program to draw the floor plan, but once again with the 20 x 34 to reference to it made life much easier.  Trying to draw out the floor plan was all new to me.  Learned a lot on this one and more to learn no doubt.
