BOLT TOGETHER house

Has anyone in the group actually built this cabin and if so anything I should be aware of before I order the plans .... my idea is a weekend getaway/hunting cabin

I don't know of anybody except the guy who wrote the article.  We did discuss it a bit is all I recall.

If you are planning on building one the first thing to do would be to determine if the property where it would be built requires building permits, etc. The bolt together will not meet present day codes. 
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesnít mean it is good design.

If you didn't have the time or money to do it right in the first place, when will you get the time and money to fix it?
