John Raabe

I got this interesting photo today.

Hopefully the owner can take the story from here...
None of us are as smart as all of us.

thanks for starting the thread John.

and thanks millions for the forum. i would be completely clueless without it.

i'm planning on eventually building a house on the lot. but i've never built anything before. i thought it would be best to practice/learn on something a bit smaller, so i begin with a "shed". i painted it "Ooops" blue to protect the plywood from afternoon thunder showers, quite a lovely shade.

i framed the floor... and then flipped it over onto the ground and screwed on 1/4" sheets. it took a few days to assemble a crew big enough to flip it back over, but i'm happy to say it was super easy to drop the insulation in the boxes. i'm hoping to keep the vermin out. then decked the floor with 3/4" T&G.

so far i have 1 wall up... hopefully 2 this afternoon.

Welcome aboard! We have a great time here sharing our experiences. I see your dog keeps you on a short leash!

I'm not poor- I'm financially underpowered.
