Hey there. I'm interested in building a simple skillion roofed 16x 32 ft. House with an extra three or four feet on the front. Is that possible. I'm a single girl doing this on my own and need some advice. Does anyone have an idea on a DYI plan that I could follow? Wish this country plans.com offered one.

Welcome to the forum!  If you build using mono-pitch trusses you could use any of the house plans.  A truss designed and manufactured for your specific load conditions should be approximately the same cost for a monopitch as for a gable roof.  I would contact the truss specialist at your lumber yard to see what they can manufacture then select and build a floor plan based on that.

Edit: Adding extra roof on the front is pretty limited.  The code only allows a short overhang when using trusses or rafters.  To get further out than a foot or two you'll need to have some way of supporting the additional weight of the overhanging roof.  Porch posts are one option, another would be angled braces.  You might check with your local building inspector and see what the code allows.  You can usually build just about anything, but if it isn't in the code then the inspector will want to see an engineer's stamp to confirm that the house is strong enough for local conditions.

A truss, or any "engineered" product is just that, the stamp can be supplied upon request. The weak link is the permanent bracing and attachment which is specified by the building designer, very often that person is you or me.
