A young builder here on Whidbey Island has done a version of the 20x34 Universal Cottage. It is now on the market and there are more pictures and information in the link at the bottom.

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

Will we soon be getting updated plans for a 24x34, John? or was that a 20x34?

Oops.... I just made it 4' wider. ??? 20x34!

I'll go back and correct that.

PS - The Realtor is neighbor and friend. I'll post her info here if someone is looking for a house or property on Whidbey Island.

It is a nice house, but I can't take any credit. The builder took the plans and ran with them on his own. Even though the house is only a few miles away I only found the address yesterday and haven't had a chance to see it myself. :D Hopefully I can go to the open house and take a photo or two myself.

Looks like he might be a protege of PEG's! ;)

See how easy that was.  You've had people wanting a 24' wide plan.   heh
