I can't wait to see how this project comes out, especially the Rocket Stove. I bought Iantos instructions on building them and thought they were a great idea. Someday I'll build one.

Well, the project already came out about as much as it's going to for awhile... ;) The outside looks pretty much the same, except for the soffits and cedar shakes on the gable ends.

As far as the rocket stove goes, it's kept us warm for a winter and a half so far. ;) The firebricks in the feed tube keep cracking, but that's the only problem we've had..

We did a rough breakdown on the total cost... It was kind of difficult, as we were getting misc. stuff through the whole process, but I think the total was around $15 a square foot. We could have cut costs even more if we knew what we were doing, though. :)
