All weather wood foundations

Since working as a graphics designer for the past twenty years, (But doing woodworking & carpentry a little on the side, on and off.) I'm more or less out of "the groove" on what the current thinking, practice and acceptance is, towards all weather wood foundations?

They have the advantage I think, for speedier construction by one crew. (Rather than bringing in a second mason crew.)

What do ya'll think or know on this subject in today's market?
