I need  retirement cabin 4000 km from where l'm currently living. I thought buying a cabin kit and hire someone to build it. I changed my mind and l bought this fully finished two bedroom modular cabin kit with one full bath, kitchen cabinet, closets and standard electrical and plumbing fixtures

So l'm going for the peace of mind but I wonder if it is possible to sit this type of  building on a slab system to have a radiant floor. The joists are 2 x 8 and I was thinking that the carpenter would have enough room  to couple the plumbing  and the electric between the slab and the floor while sitting the building on the slab.

I wouldn't worry about the slab - put the radiant against the bottom of the wood floor- there are pressed aluminum plates to fasten it to the underside - then I think you could insulate under the radiant setup afterward.

There are also other ways to go about it but this seems easiest.
